Singapore #1 Women’s Epeeist Kiria and Blade Club fencer unlocked a new achievement by qualifying straight into the second day of intense competitions during the Budapest Grand Prix. During the poule stage, she delivered a perfect record of 6-0, along the way beating World #23 REMBI 5-1, and one of the top Hungarian fencers BUKI 5-0. In delivering straight victories, she achieved a major milestone in her fencing journey by directly qualifying for the Top 64 in the second day of competition, a first by any Singaporean Women’s Epeeist!

On the second day of the Grand Prix, she was matched up against KUUSK (EST), world ranked #31. Despite her best efforts, Kiria was unable to break down her larger opponent’s defences, eventually losing the match.

By progressing so smoothly into the second day, Kiria proved once again that she is ready to compete at the top level of international competition against world-class fencers!
