At the Thai Minime (pronounced mee-neem), Blade Club fencers had a great time competing in their age-group competitions. For many fencers, it was the first international competition experience; many overcame their nerves to perform well and some returned with medals.
Representing Blade Club Singapore were fencers aged 9 to 14. Our fencers won 3 Golds, 3 Silvers, 2 Bronzes, and had a number of Top 8 finishes.
A special shout-out to Athena Chen who, despite doing her first ever international competition, came away with 2 Silver medals!
