Our 2nd Cadet competition of the season again saw some excellent results from our fencers, including some of our athletes who won their first ever cadet medals!
15 year old Joshua Chew won his first ever Cadet bronze medal in the Men’s Foil event, while 14 year old Angellena Wong prevailed in a nail-biting quarterfinal to socre her bronze medal in the Women’s Foil event. Epeeists Mika Wong and Azanius Nua both won bronze medals for their efforts as well, fighting off the oppressive heat that unfortunately marred the competition on the first day due to a malfunction in the air-conditioning of the hall at the venue.
Elle Koh continued to perform well at the Cadet level, winning both the Women’s Epee and Foil events to add another 2 golds to her haul this season.
