A small band of Blade fencers went up north to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to compete in the 2nd SEAFF Minime hosted by the Malaysian Fencing Federation. Our fencers competed in 6 out of 8 events for Foil and Epee for U12 / U14, and came back with 1 Gold, 2 Silvers, and 3 Bronzes, and a top 8 finish.
Angellena Wong won the U14 Foil in dominating fashion. Teammate Jade Lim bagged a Silver and Bronze in the U14 Foil and Epee, despite being only 13 years of age, and Matthew Tan earned his first Bronze medal in an international event. The U12 Foil event saw Bronzes by 11-year-old Oli Zhang, and 10-year-old Summer Koh.
